Giving Thanks-Day Four

On Day Four, I'm thankful for the time I get to spend with my family.  Whether it's having a meal together, watching a movie, going for a hike, or playing a game, we have the chance to spend time together.  Today we hiked up to Mt. Bonnell.  It's a super easy hike up the hill, or stairs, depending on which route you take.  Once you get up there, the view is always gorgeous!  Having the opportunity to do things together, and create memories, makes my day!

Giving Thanks-Day Three

On Day Three, I am thankful for my friends.  This group of people that I feel the privilege of calling my friends, have been there for good times and bad. They have celebrated with me and they've held me up when I didn't think I could stand any longer.  Sometimes all within the same night.  :)  I would hope that I am as good a friend to them as they have been to me.  I want to repay them for every smile they've put on my face!  I want to always be there for them!  These wonderful people have brought so much to my life!  I love you all!

I wanted to post a picture, but I figured you all would know who you are.

Exactly!

Giving Thanks-Day Two

Day Two is all about being thankful for my family's health.  I consider myself healthy, even though I've been sick for four days with a stomach virus.  I've been very lucky to never have had any serious illnesses or broken bones.  I'm thankful that my children are also very strong and healthy.  I'm thankful that my Dad beat prostate cancer and it has stayed in remission.  I'm thankful that my Grandma survived breast cancer and got to see four of her great-grandbabies.  I'm thankful for each and every day that we have our health.

Giving Thanks-Day One!

Day One begins my month long quest to find things that I'm thankful for!  I know I have a lot to be thankful for, but we'll see how easy it is by Day 31!

Today, I'm thankful for the three children that God has given me!  I don't even want to think about life without my boys because it would make me sad.  There have been so many memories made, that I will cherish until I'm a very old lady.  I would hope that I've instilled in my boys what family is about and that their mom will always be there for them.

This is a picture of my boys, from 2004!  :)  I can't believe how much they've grown.
